Playscape
Playscape is a landscape architectural proposal that seeks to reimagine the desolate site of Ontario Place - a small man-made island in Toronto, Ontario. Playscape functions as an ecological recreation mega-centre dedicated to both human and environmental health and wellness. A striated landscape divided into bands of 5-15m in width move independently through vertical space to build up the substantial topography of the island. The surface conditions of the striations vary, serving either humans, animals, or both together.
