A House's Journey

Three words: glacier,  conversation, abandoned building. The challenge: design and execute a video narrative inspired by these three words. The animation addresses questions of architectural transformation, the concept of life cycles, and the relationship between building and inhabitant. The story imagines the life journey of a house constructed in a glacier mountain landscape, depicting the physical alterations that it undergoes in response to the ever-changing external forces acting upon it. All illustrations were hand-painted in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Scenes were then animated in Adobe Animate, with final edits and sound compositions composed in Adobe Premiere.
